SZ03-II UV cross-linker is a multi-purpose 254nm UV radiation system, mainly used for cross-linking and fixing nucleic acids on the membrane. It can also be used for DNA cutting in agarose gel, RecA mutation screening, partial restriction endonuclease digestion of pyrimidine dimer, UV sterilization to eliminate PCR pollution, etc. It also has application value in UV sterilization and polymer UV treatment.
Features:
①In order to fix the nucleotides on the hybrid membrane, the traditional method is to bake the membrane in a vacuum oven at 80°C for 2 hours, and the UV crosslinker only needs to irradiate it under 254nm ultraviolet light for a few seconds.
②Ultraviolet irradiation can increase the hybridization signal by 5-10 times compared with the traditional baking method.
③Because the UV crosslinker is equipped with a UV energy programming system (Joules/cm2), that is, the time integrator continuously detects the irradiation of UV light. When the energy absorption value reaches the set value, the irradiation will automatically stop. Therefore, regardless of the intensity of the ultraviolet light source and the time difference, the irradiation cycle has good repeatability.
